I have a feeling that lots of people who have tried to make it online at some point in time have heard of Wealthy Affiliate.
Honestly, Wealthy Affiliate is a lot of different things.
On one hand you could describe Wealthy Affiliate as a course but it is so much more than that.
Personally I have used Wealthy Affiliate as a course, hosting company, keyword research tool, a community of affiliate marketers and so much more.
Let me go over the training first because that is probably what everyone thinks of when they first think of Wealthy Affiliate.
Wealthy Affiliate gives lots of great training around Affiliate Marketing. However, I need to be very clear on the type of affiliate marketing that wealthy Affiliate teaches.
Wealthy Affiliate specifically teaches content based Affiliate marketing. A great example of this kind of affiliate marketing is this blog post itself.
I am writing a review on a product and that is what has brought you here to this post.
Wealthy Affiliate Money Making Process
Step 1. Person Searches for a product
Step 2. That person finds your website.
Step 3. Person purchases product from a link on your website.
Step 4. You Make Money
This is seriously the process and its not that complicated but everyone seems to muddy the water and make it a ton more complicated then it has to be.
They are not some fly by night course like so many of these other affiliate marketing courses or programs, I mean seriously Wealthy Affiliate has been around for 12 years.
That is an incredibly long time to have been teaching people how to make money online.
The program also wants to be very clear about how everything works, and with effort and time you will make money online.
Its a very straight forward step by step, or even task by task training. Every lesson has straight forward homework assignments like this one.
If you thoroughly follow the steps I can virtually guarantee that you will see results.
I would say the biggest problem and uphill battle Wealthy Affiliate has to battle is the fact that all these people who are researching about Affiliate Marketing see all the other “gurus” promising fast fortunes. When sadly that is not the truth and something Wealthy Affiliate actually tries to avoid.
The course or courses I should say can take just about anyone from online newbie to full time income as long as they follow the training and take it seriously.
It starts from the very beginning of how to build a website to how to make that website profitable.
I have seen so many people get frustrated by not seeing returns immediately when they try to make it online that they just immediately call it a scam and quit.
What a joke that is, some companies out in the real world don’t even turn a profit for years.
It took Amazon roughly 14 years to finally have a profitable year and I mean they basically run half the world now.
Wealthy Affiliate is a Course
So here is the deal with Wealthy Affiliate, its a course. So yes if your a complete newbie, I honestly cant think of a better place to start because the course they offer practically holds your hand through the entire process. The only people who would fail are those who are impatient and want to cut corners and skip ahead. I am sorry but you cant do that and truly get to where you want to be, it takes patience and hard work, period.
The course truly does break everything down right to the simplest steps. I know lots of courses say this and I am pretty sure I already have but this is truly a Newbie friendly course.
Wealthy Affiliate is a Technology Company
Wealthy Affiliate is also a technology company. When you become a pro member of Wealthy Affiliate you also get website hosting for WordPress websites. This is also honestly some of the best hosting you can get and is probably worth what you pay for the pro membership alone.
I mean just check out this comparison chart and these numbers speak volumes.

This price different is huge and what it offers is huge, you might wondering how they can offer such a price difference. Well I might not be 100% certain but I am pretty sure it might having something to do with customer retention. I know more people who have stayed long term with Wealthy Affiliate then with any of the other options out their.

Wealthy Affiliate is a Community
Wealthy Affiliate is also an amazing community of like minded individuals. This is probably one of my favorite aspects behind using Wealthy Affiliate. This is probabaly one of the most active make money online communities that I have come across.
Everyone using Wealthy Affiliate is trying to make it online or has already made it online. Its seriously a great community of people. If you have a question about literally any aspect about affiliate marketing, making money online, web design etc…. someone on the platform is going to get you an answer and help you out.
I mean I might even be the one who helps you out because well I do like helping being.
Every step of the course has a comments section and actively encourages everyone to participate. I mean this is one of the first things they want you to do.
Look at tasks 3 & 4 those are literally forcing you to participate. I know you might be thinking that you don’t want to participate but I cant really think of any successful person who did 100% of everything by themselves. They all had help along the way in some form or fashion, Wealthy Affiliate knows this and is wanting you to build of that army of people around you, to share the burden with you and join you in your online journey.
So to answer that question from the very beginning….
Is Wealthy Affiliate A Scam?
100% NO, Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam. Its several different things and depending on where you are on your online journey it could be something different to different people.
What I can say is that it will for sure help you out in achieving your goals and whether your a beginning or more advanced online you will still find something to help you.
